A day here
Nothing dramatic happens most days. That's rather the point.
Here's what an ordinary Tuesday actually looks like.
Come and see one

- Everybody eats together, at a table, off plates
- Somebody is awake every night, all night, in the house
- Visits without an appointment

An ordinary Tuesday
Hour by hour, this is the shape of it.
The deck's instruction for this page was to resist making it sound nice, and make it sound true. Where a line is still in brackets, the specific answer has not come back from the houses yet.
The shape of it
Morning, afternoon, and the walk before dinner.

Two of those lines do more work than the rest
The afternoon, and the night.
At 3:15 the kids get home from school and do homework at the kitchen table. They are our caregivers' children, and they are here because nobody should have to choose between their own child and somebody else's parent.
Overnight, somebody is awake. Every night, all night, in the house. Not on call, not down the corridor — awake, in the house.
Come and look
The best way to understand a house is to walk into one.
Any day, no appointment. Come at 3:15 if you want to see the part that surprises people.
